The main Particularity in Singapore lies in its multi-ethnic character and where behind the facade of the modern city are still evident ethnic traits since immigrants of the past have resulted in the creation of a mixture of influences and is precisely the cultural and religious diversity that attracts and surprises of Singapore.

- Independence Day Singapore : Singapore is expelled from Malaysia and became an independent republic on August 9, 1965 . This festival is accompanied by many cultural activities , shows and military marches , and where people are dressed with beautiful and colorful clothes usually national color is red and is held at the Marina Bay Bey.
- Chinese New Year : that is the most important holiday for Singaporeans specifically for the Chinese it is developed and celebrated in Chinatown which is characterized by the giant snake floating all over the place . It is celebrated on January 21 and February and coincides approximately with the beginning of the first lunar month .
- Singapore Art Festival : celebration that began in 1977 and promoted by the National Arts Council and is a festival that is held annually and aims to disseminate the various local art forms.
- Festival Dragon Boats : Held on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, and its name derives from the date of the lunar calendar. In this event remind Singaporeans QU YUAN Chinese poet who drowned. In his honor, organized boat races that recreate the look of a dragon (Long Shou)
- Hungry Ghost Festival : Held in late July and early August or so (depending on the Lunar calendar) and lasts a month. Taoist in origin and between acts that can be seen include outdoor tastings and some drama shows.
- Monkey God Anniversary : in late September, the sanctuary of the Monkey God (in seng poh road) organizes a procession in honor of this deity
